Leverage your data

The interesting and valuable part of working with the Memoways application is that your data and metadata can be used and leveraged for many different uses, in an original and automatic way.

Once you completed the indexing of your data (by adding keywords and tags to your documents), our API's and specific web services will bring life to your data by providing end users with individualized and exciting presentations.
Be it for an innovative smartphone application or a classical website: the way your data will be shown and used will depend on the keywords and settings you choose in the Memoways application.
And of course, the way the end user interacts with the "storyworld" you created for him…

By using the Memoways application and web services, content producers can leverage more of the content they are producing. It is not only the final movie or show that will exist through the different delivery platforms, but your project, through the individual documents you created "along the road", will come literally to life around your main product !
By giving an interactive and playful access to your content, the existing and future spectators will engage in a very personalized way with your project: by interacting with your content, the path through your documents will create a form (movie, playlist, collage…) that will be uniquely linked to the story they will get.
And, not to be forgotten, more roads link to your content, so you can maximize the return on investment (ROI).

What's coming next ?

We are currently working on a "smartmap" that allows lots of different interactions with the geo-localized data on top of a Google map: the user will be able to navigate through the various layers of information and documents that are linked to a territory, in a way that lets each individual user decide on his / her own path. The presentation of the "smartmap" will be held in Paris in September 2011 (see this page for further details).

Another project we are working on is the artistic adaptation "Walking the Edit" with the WE app for iPhone: it will allow any user to simply "walk a movie" just by recording the path with the GPS. Video fragments are already existing within a given territory – and just by walking next to the geo-localized material, our editing engine selects and plays the video fragments that make sense according to the form of the path…
The WE app for iPhone is still under development and should be available on the Appstore in September 2011; it will be possible to test the app in Paris, Geneva, Renens (near Lausanne), Marseille and Biarritz (the cities where we already implemented video footage – currently there are around 9000 video fragments linked to those territories).
